Last week I posted this: Would Your Customers Wear Your RFID-Enabled wristband?
I published it in response to this item:
The Ushuaia Beach Hotel in the European summer clubbing capital of Ibiza has just launched an innovative campaign using RFID technology that allows users to carry out Facebook activity in the real world while on holiday. Guests can tag photos, check in on Facebook Places and share their wonderful holiday moments without carrying a computer or phone around with them (which is handy when you’re in Ibiza).
All they have to do is wear a wrist band that they are given when checking in and match it up with their Facebook profile. via thenextweb.com
And after I published it I thought....what if everyone in your organization was so inspired, so excited, about what they were doing together that they chose to...
wear a RFID-enabled wristband while they created and delivered their product or service to their customers and so shout to the world or their world on Facebook that they are doing this? And, oh BTW, show how cool they are creating and delivering their products or services, together to their customers?
Notice the change from your to their in these two posts. The first post used your customers and your products and services. But when your organization members do this...it becomes their organization and their products and services delivered to their customers.
See. That's when you have employee engagement. That's when your profits and cash-flows begin to rise faster than your competitors. That's when your ROE and Earnings Per Share and Price/Equity valuations rise as compared to your competitors. It is also how you create an innovation premium on your stock price as Dr. Hal Gregersen described during his recent interview with me.
All that from a wristband.
How cool would that be?
